This technique produces a lovely stained window effect. Similar to cloisonné work. This is an advanced technique so you will need to have experience of embossing pewter to do these workshops. Encaustic art is an unusual and different way to create beautiful works of art. The technique involves using coloured waxes which are melted on an iron and applied in various ways to sealed paper. This is a very easy way to make a lovely rose from paper. It turns out perfectly every time. By adapting the pattern you can make large and small blooms and leaves. £25 for a two hour session.
This is a photographic process which produces beautiful a ‘one off’ blue and white print. You will learn how to produce Cyanotypes using natural objects such as grasses, flowerheads and leaves. How to apply the photographic chemicals to your paper and different techniques for making the process your own. This is a six-week course (6 x 2 Hourly sessions) where you will make 3 bears, each will teach you a different skill. You will learn how; to cut out and make up your bears. Set in child safety eyes and joints Stuffing techniques and how to adapt pattern pieces to give you a different looking bear.

Crochet a Beaded Bow Pocket - This lovely little beaded bow pouch looks relatively simple, but when it comes to having straight sides on your crochet everyone finds this is one of the hardest things to master. Kanzashi Flowers These are beautiful fabric flowers made with minimal sewing. They are made using origami folding, or gathering techniques. These flowers were originally used by the Japanese Geisha girls to decorate their hair but can be used to decorate bags shoes home decor and for Jewellery. Pewter Work - This is a 4-week introductory course where you will learn the main techniques of embossing. These techniques can be applied to making cards, clocks, coasters, journals and jewellery. This is an easy way to learn how to crochet and will be the first of many workshops on crochet. I aim to do one technique a month allowing you to practice in between workshops. This workshop will run for 2-3 hours.
